Today was Scott Cole: Yoga Tai Chi. I recently got this DVD on eBay and today was my first time doing it. I wasn’t sure what to expect from watching the preview clips. I enjoyed it, but it won’t be one of my favorites.
Tonight I’m hoping to get in a Gin Miller workout. Will update afterwards. 🙂
Update: I did Gin Miller's Power Abs Medicine Ball Workout. I used an 8lb. ball and feel I got a good workout. I enjoy doing workouts that incorporate different types of moves. It's on YouTube if you're interested in trying it. I followed it with Yin Yoga for the Hips 30Min practice with Cheryl.

I took it a bit easy today. Way to much family, my hubby's and my introverted self just was over it. Just a 20 min walk to do something today.

Today was KCM Start Here, Workout 2, and Rodney Yee Yoga for Energy and Stress Relief, Restore and Rejuvenate. Still working on that slow and steady build up of strength in my hip.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! 😊

A 20 min walk is a good thing :-) We don't need to do Cathe to get good health benefits from exercise. Sometimes a short walk is so refreshing -especially if you need a break from others.

Today was Boy Shorts Bottom with Minna Lessig and Stretch Level 2 with Mirabai Holland. Both are new (to me) workouts. Nice, easy workout day. My shoulders are a bit sore from yesterday's Gin Miller workout.

Karla - I’m still researching Mirabai’s workouts.
Well, I did say I was going to take it easy, right? I ended up doing yard max instead. I’m counting it 100% as my workout today. I only got a few twinges in my hip after I worked in the yard. Oddly, my tailbone felt sore slightly as well.

Back to heavy lifting. I did a quick 15 min walk in the morning, trying to work on improving my sometimes abysmal step count, then I did chest and shoulders with another 10 min walk as a cooldown. Today it hurts to move my arms in anyway that my chest is involved LOL.

I walked and did some of the stretches while teaching my barre class yesterday. I get a twinge occasionally in my hip/thigh so I’m still taking it slightly easy. I’ll update tonight’s activity when my workouts are complete.
Seagreen - I have so many untried Cathe dvds. I’m hoping her new set will help kickstart me into her workouts again. I really enjoy her PHA workouts.
Update: I joined a little Instagram challenge via The London Method. I measured my body, and I did the warmup, upper body plus core today, 30 minutes roughly. I think this will help kick start me back into my barre stuff. Will add this evening’s workout as well later.

Yesterday was the Firm Super Body Sculpt and a 30 minute YouTube yoga practice with Cheryl. FatCat, I think Mirabai’s stretching practices might be too easy for you. However, I like her first practice the best. You might want to check out Your Yoga Journey with Cheryl. My knee pain disappeared after starting her practices. They’re gentle, but more challenging than Mirabai’s workouts. Seagreen01, I need to start doing more of my Cathe workouts. She also has some wonderful stretching practices. Rhbrand, please be careful not to overdo at first. It takes time to get muscles readjusted to using weights. Walking is a great exercise. I always feel better after walking Shadow, my senior shepherd for 15-20 minutes. I enjoy being outside in nature, hearing the birds and watching the squirrels run around. Today was Perfectly Fit with Claudia Schiffer Abs workout. My daughter is coming to visit for a few days tomorrow, so not sure if I will be able to sneak in any workouts.

Yesterday a 45 min walk while watching Lucifer. Today, I tried to destroy my legs doing a leg day. Been following a couple people on TikTok who give good tips on different moves to really hit the glutes, and I'm going to really try and build a booty. Tomorrow might be fun LOL. Been lifting heavy like this off and on for 10+ years. I do miss my CrossFit days but dang it's just to far to drive now. CrossFit was fun and I'm glad I did it for those 3 years.

By the way, is this your puppy aka fur baby in the photo? Very sweet! Rhbrand - can you believe I have 2 CrossFit gyms within 2 miles of me? I never did get into CrossFit. I do have a friend who teaches yoga at a local gym even closer to me, and I think I’m going to bust up into her class and have her check my alignment.

I like the easy going nature of the check in here but I’m technically a day ahead posting from Aus but behind in posting. Hoping I don’t get too tangled. I think I will need to put my day and /or dates for workouts at the start.
4th was a 20 min walk and extremely windy, so not very enjoyable. 5th I did a new to me Cathe STS Total Body Phase 4 I loved this one and will try a couple of the premixes soon I hope.
Karla, Super Body Sculpt is one of my favourite FIRMS, I did that one not long ago. Agree Cathe’s stretches are good.
Fatkat I too enjoy Cathe’s PHAs . Her new set looks intriguing and different. I love the colours and background. I will be reading reviews for sure. I hardly did Cathe’s workouts for a long time, KCM and too many other instructors to try but I’m rediscovering and enjoying.
rhbrand are there any DVDs or streaming which are somewhat like CrossFit ?
