Drive by post!
We survived the hurricane! Power went out and we had about 6 inches of water under the house. Power is now back on, so I did Yoga: Gentle Vinyasa Flow, Series A 38 minutes. I love this practice so much. 💕

Leg/glute day. Today I did a higher rep, lower weight, but really burned the glutes. And then a 20 min walk.

I’ve only done a little of hurricane cleanup (our back yard still has water), and now I’m working on a cold with swollen glands. Taking it easy until I feel better so no big workouts to report.

FatCat, Hope you feel better soon!
Today is a needed rest day for me. It's been rainy and grey. Yesterday was Jules Benson's Total Core Pilates and a 45-Minute shoulder stretch with David P.

I'm taking a couple days off.
Visited our youngest daughter this weekend. I forgot the old cat she has, one she grew up with, has arthritis in his hips now. He reminded me of that with his teeth in my forearm. So now I've got an infection in my forearm. I'm on antibiotics for it already, but I think a day or two of just walking putting less pressure on my arm until it's not swollen and warm, would be a smart thing.

Those infections can be nasty. Maybe an Epson salt soak might help? Hope you’re able to heal quickly ❤️ I managed to get in a Firm workout today with Rebekah in Get Chisel’d and I followed it with a 10-Minute Solution Stress Relief practice. I’ve done at least one untried workout daily (except for rest days) this month. It’s been a struggle not to reach for my usuals, but I am really enjoying the change.

Hi all. Even though I was itching to work out and could only do walks on my week away I feel rested and refreshed.
Mon 16th I did Barlates Walk and Sculpt 1500 steps with Standing Abs and Laura Wells- Upper Body Weights Drop Sets. Both workouts were new to me and I enjoyed both. Tue 17th was Laura Wells -Full Body Circuit Med Ball Cardio Challenge. Another new to me workout. I really like this instructor.
Karla, I find it hard to do untrieds for too long, my regulars and favourites keep calling to me. I think you did well and maybe found some that will become regulars too??
fatkat and rhbrand I hope you both feel better soon.

It's good to give our body rest periods I didn't know that Linda had walking workouts. I will have to check them out when I have some extra time. Yes, it's been a struggle to do at least one untried workout daily, but I think I am really beginning to enjoy it. It's an adventure. Most of the workouts have been good, some a bit too easy, but it's probably good for me anyway. Some of the easier workouts are good for range of motion and mobility. Something that I didn't fully appreciate until relatively recently. 17th Strength & Stretch with Marabai Holland. I had purchased this one at the beginning of August, but just got around to trying it. It was defective, and froze during the lower body workout. I just added in a few of my own moves to complete the workout. I wrote the eBay seller and he graciously refunded my money. 18th Lower Body Toning Ring with Madeleine Lewis followed by a 30-minute yoga practice for lower back pain with Cheryl. My senior German shepherd needs me to lift him (at times) as his back legs are very weak. It's tough on my back though. I might do a lower back yin tonight if I have time. 19th Miarbai Holland Strength 2 & Adrienne Reed Power Yoga for Hips

I finally have something to report! Tonight I did David Swenson Yoga Short Forms, 30 minutes. This was a new-to-me practice and now I see why people rave about it. I love the simplicity of it.
Hope you’re all doing well. There’s a possibility of a hurricane next week so our cleanup stopped. No sense in doing things twice.

20th was X-trainfit upper body. Her warmup consisted of pushups and moved on to light weights. I don't like pushups as a warmup move. Otherwise, the workout was okay. I followed it with Tropical Stretch & Energizer workout with David Wicker.

Sorry I've not been checking in. My antibiotics for my cat bite infection are making my stomach a little upset. Esp the first couple days. It's some better now, but I've just decided to focus on light walking until I'm done with these antibiotics. That and my insomina is back. I hope to sleep in tomorrow morning cause I have no where to go and nothing to do tomorrow.

I did another two new workouts which were both a little disappointing. Sexy legs with Tony Little & Daily Yoga Abs Practice (I'm getting rid of this one) with Rodney Yee. The ab practice tweaked my back, so might do some back stretches later.
RH Hope you feel better and manage to get some sleep. My son was hospitalized for a cat scratch when he was little.
