Karla - I havenβt done all the practices in the yoga Warrior set. Specifically, disc 7-12 I have not done. I started disc 7 and thatβs when my leg/back started hurting so I stopped. My favorites are Modified Warrior and Mountain Warrior. These are both on the bonus disc and are 20 and 28 minutes. Mountain Warrior is completely standing. Of the main program, I enjoyed The Gathering and Gentle Warrior. The Gathering moves much slower and has more holds, is 57 minutes. Gentle Warrior is more of a Yin style at 60 minutes. Rudy has a lot of tips on each dvd for specific poses for each disc, so it would be beneficial to get the set. If you prefer the short practices, Iβd see if someone is selling just the bonus disc.
All in all, I love having the set. I think I went too quickly (and I didnβt have my Manduka mat so i was sliding everywhere) by venturing in to the other dvds. Iβm definitely more beginner level and they dvds progress quickly if you do them in order. My goal is to get very familiar with each dvd through repetition starting with the four practices I mentioned. Once Iβm extremely comfortable with them, Iβll add on.
Workouts were 11-15 Tracie Long Focus Lift Higher and Yoga Short Forms. 11-16 was a packed day, so I collapsed in the bed at the end of the day.

FatKat,
Thank you! I purchased a new set for $15 and am looking forward to trying it when it gets here.
17th Men of Steel Arm Workout with Gilad. I modified by subbing French presses for triceps dips. I also skipped the pushups. So grateful that I can modify nowadays without feeling guilt or that I'm too incapable. It feels liberating and it will οΌhopefullyοΌ keep me from injuring myself. I also did Chinese Yoga with Bob Klein. I skipped the work with the ball since I wanted to walk my dog, and it was getting dark. It's very gentle. The more I do this one, the more I like it.

No workout for me this weekend other than plumbing max. Since we had a few leaks spring up under the kitchen sink, my two boys in the house, hubby and son, are too big to get under there. It took several false starts, but I got a new faucet installed and was able to find the leak around my garbage disposal. More plumbing max comings because we need to replace a toilet flange. My husband will help with the heavy lifting when we get to it. Iβm exhausted though.

Just touching base and reading and catching up on everyone. I still have cough max although not as heavy and debilitating, just unexpected relapses and I canβt get a rhythm going. Iβm plain tired. Have walked every day and done the odd workout. Iβll just post those. Barlates - Walk and Sculpt Lower 3000 steps Core Secrets - Upper Body Challenge Cathe - STS2 Mobility 1 Barlates - Zone 2 Cardio Sculpt Amy Dixon - Kickin Strength Not much for the month but something other than walking.
Glad to see the Men still having a good run in your rotation Karla. I agree with modifications itβs so freeing. fatkat good luck with the plumbing. We had a leak in our roof a few months ago during winter . Very testing because we had to wait for the rain to stop for the fix.Hope you are back on track after the weekend. rhonda hope you are doing well.

Seagreen, I hope you get to feeling better soon. I had a bad cough for months from long Covid and took NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) and Nattokinase. I had a very difficult time getting any sleep. My cough went away pretty quickly after I started taking them. Mullein Leaf is also a good supplement for the respiratory system. I added the links just in case you were interested in reading reviews and learning more about them. Today was Buns of Steel with Greg Smithey followed by Yoga for Runners with Matt Giordano. I did the Post-Run practice.

Karla - did you like the Buns of Steel?
Rhbrand - hope all is well!
Seagreen - I sure hope you kick that cough soon!
I did my standby today, Modified Warrior. I was planning to do more, but my daughter texted me for advice.

FatKat, I like Greg and his quirky sense of humor. It's an excellent workout. He does miss reps on the table work on one side, but that doesn't bother me. His workout is on YouTube if you want to view it :-)
Today was fit in 15 with Paul Katami. I did the arms, back and stretch workouts. I especially like the stretch because it works balance.

Tonight was Mountain Warrior. If Iβd thought about it, I couldβve done this workout when my hands hurt because itβs all standing. Iβll definitely remember for next time.

Karla thanks for the links and will look forward to reading. I have the Katami Fit in 15. I donβt remember it at all but I have notes inside the case, no shoes for the stretch and a list of weights I used. Iβm going to have to try some of this again especially for the stretch.
fatKat, is Yoga Short Forms gentle or strenuous? I have owned this DVD for so long and havenβt tried it yet. I donβt want to be breathing too hard even though my cough has eased. I have modified all my workouts down and Iβm coping.
A few sections of workouts done Gilad - Hard core Abs section 4, 10 Min Solution - Dance off Belly Fat 1st 10mins. Love Petra! Denise Austin - Sizzler, all low impact and light weight. Barlates - Resistance Band Sculpt 37 mins. Still walking every day.

Seagreen- yoga short forms is strenuous in that itβs a shortened Ashtanga practice. The 15-minute routine is almost all Sun salutations. Itβs meant to be for a beginner thought to work up to a full practice. I would not recommend while sick.

11/21 Tony Horton P90 Sweat A, followed by Kundalini Yoga: A Complete Course for Beginners V5, Program 9. I liked the breath work at the end of the workout.
22 Tony Horton Sculpt A. I modified using light dumbbells when the door attachment was used. I followed it with Yoga Quick Fixes with Ravi Singh & Ana Brett. I only did the first 25-minutes.

I ran out of time yesterday so no workout, but today was Kari Anderson Go and Modified Warrior. Thereβs a bit of whooping and clapping in the Go workout, but I didnβt find it overly distracting. Verdict: I still have two left feet. π«£π

FatKat, :-) I also have two left feet. I have to pass on Kari & Cathe οΌand othersοΌ step & aerobic workouts. Gin Miller and Kathy Smith are doable for me.
This morning was Brazil Butt Lift: High & Tight. I've had this set for at least a couple of years. I had tried another workout on the set & didn't like it. So, the set has just been shelf-sitting. I'm so glad I tried this workout! It was great. I worked muscles that I don't usually work, so will probably be sore tomorrow. I used a band for the first part but skipped the ankle weights. I normally use ankle weights for Firm and Margaret Richard, but I was feeling the band work today, so opted to skip. I don't think I could have completed the ankle weight part of the workout wearing ankle weights. I felt it without the weights.
Later today is Christmas Max. I'm trying to get my yard decorations up. It's a bit early, but I have a lot to do, so will be breaking it up over a couple of more days. Not sure if I will be able to fit any yoga in today.
