I'm going to try to make this a light or no weight workout week. I still plan on doing either new or workouts that I haven't done in a long time.
Today was Fuse Dance Cardio Lean with Tracey Mallet. It's an excellent workout and I worked up a good sweat. Haven't done this one in 2+ years.

Karla - I have some Booty Barre of Tracey Mallet still waiting for me to try. So many in my untried bin…
Tonight I did Firm Lower Body Sculpt II and 3 Week Yoga Retreat, Vytas Flow on the Go. It’s been ages since I did floor work. The yoga was my favorite in this series so far. I love Vytas’ instruction style, very to the point.

Karla - I have some Booty Barre of Tracey Mallet still waiting for me to try. So many in my untried bin… Tonight I did Firm Lower Body Sculpt II and 3 Week Yoga Retreat, Vytas Flow on the Go. It’s been ages since I did floor work. The yoga was my favorite in this series so far. I love Vytas’ instruction style, very to the point. I have other Tracey workouts that I need to do. I'm enjoying this rotation so far. It makes me feel less guilty doing the DVDs too. If I spend money on them, I should make an effort to do them. It's good to break out of routines too! I like Libby as an instructor. I wish she had been the lead in more videos. Vytas has a practice (which he does with his brother) on Udaya Gentle Hip Stretches which is great. My trail subscription to Udaya expired, and this is the only practice that I really miss. Yesterday was Great Weighted Workout with Karen Voight. I did the standing portion and skipped the mat work. I also did a CS short workout. This morning was Full Body Light Cardio Workout - Friendly Cardio Program | with Miranda Esmonde WhiteThis evening was Gin Miller's Step Reaction- 110 BPMs Although I don't get the BPM. I've heard others complain about different workouts where the instructor was off beat. I've struggled to hear/see it. Maybe I am tone deaf? I enjoyed this basic workout. That should tell you how uncoordinated I am. I have this DVD. Gin sent me over 20 DVDs yesterday, so I am excited to try many of them. Some are too hard for me. She sold them to me at a bargain price because she's trying to reduce her inventory. She is a very nice lady!

Oooo. I love Gin Miller! I recently acquired many of her dvds off of eBay. I’m choreography challenged so I was unsure about her step. Is it complicated? So cool she sent you so many dvds!! I know KCM sometimes goes off beat and she will tell you she is. I didn’t know Gin had one off beat as well. My sister loves her step and she’s never mentioned anything.
I tried KV Great Weighted Workout back in the day and it kicked my butt! I still have it and need to give it another try.
I had an Udaya subscription and it seemed I stuck with Vytas as an instructor, so I canceled my membership and purchased all his dvds I could find. I also downloaded a few that Udaya had on their YouTube channel.
Last night I tried 3 Week Yoga Retreat, Expansion with Emily, Core. Today I did yard max so I’ll probably end up doing more yoga tonight.
editing to add that I ended up trying 3 Week Yoga Retreat, Expansion with Elise, Stretch. I’m enjoying the slow pace and detailed instruction.

The step workout is very easy to follow. Ginny has uploaded most of her workouts on YouTube and you should check them out :-) I really like her first step workout which is retro. I will be doing that one soon!
Day 4 of light/no weight week. Flirty Girl Fitness Ultimate Upper Body. This was one of my recent finds at a thrift store. I used light weights instead of the gel balls. I did a CS in the evening.
Day 5. Today was another recent thrift store find. It was another repackaged DVD -an old workout in a new cover. I've done this Leslie The 30-Minute Walk before, so it was a bit disappointing. I like the workout, just expected something that I'd not done before. I needed a no brainer workout this morning. I followed it with a short (under 15 min.) Cathe stretch from her Total Body Stretching DVD.

Checking in with Tracie Long Metabolic Strength, Get Up and Go and 3 Week Yoga Retreat, Expansion with Elise, Balance. I’m still exploring the yoga retreat dvds, but so far this one and Vytas Flow on the Go are my favorites.
I was digging around on Gin’s YouTube and saw a ton of videos! I’ll have to try a few, but I’m not buying a subscription so I’ll have the stupid ads. 🙄
And my power is out, again. Always at night so we can be blazing hot.

There are some horrible ads on YouTube. They always seem to come on when I am watching an old movie and eating something. There are some things that are private and shouldn't be advertised.
Day 6 was The Firm Maximum Cardio Burn + Abs. I like Allie as an instructor :-) I also did Total Stretch for Beginners with Tamilee. I only did the flexibility practice. I should do this one more often! Day 7 was Travis Eliot 30-minute yin yoga in the morning and The Karma Yoga Project yin yoga (great for the hips) with Donna Helm-Yost.

Still doing my yoga retreat dvds. Saturday was Expansion with Elise, Flow, and yesterday was Flow on the Go with Elise and KCM timesaver Sculpt, Intervals.
I definitely need more yin yoga. I have not tried the Donna Helm-Yost you mentioned, Karla. My hips and shoulders are always so tight.

Today is a rest day! I need it!

Monday: Day 1 of weights and alternate cardio days.
I had planned to do Cathe, Jari & Margaret with alternate cardio. But I was craving the Firm, so I compromised with myself and did Maximum Body Shaping. I did the Short & Sweet 30-minute Travis Eliot yin yoga again. Still working to liberate my hamstrings & hips because I think that's what's causing some minor knee issues.
Day 2. Today I desperately needed a rest. I did some yard work and the heat just wiped me out. I had planned on mopping today, but as Scarlett O'Hara famously said, "After all, tomorrow is another day!"

There aren't many yin practices on DVD.

Someone came into my yard and cut all but one of my purple rose bush canes. I'm guessing they want to propagate them since that would give them $100+ free rose bushes. I was very upset and (after a while) decided to do a Margaret Richard workout. Her workouts are soothing to me. I feel much better after doing Muscle & Grace.

I’m sorry this happened to you. Where do you live? I can say with confidence that nobody is stealing anything out of my yard. 😁 Unless, of course, they just want dead plants in pots. my mother-in-law had plants stolen from her business when they were doing a landscaping project. Someone simply came and dug everything up.

I live in NW Florida. It’s a quiet neighborhood so this is disturbing. They’re building a lot of apartments and new homes within a few miles. Maybe someone from there took it. Our neighborhood is secluded and out of the way a bit.
Day 4 was a cardio day. I did the Reebok step workout with Gin Miller. That’s the kind of choreography that is doable for me. lol It’s a great workout. One of the best step workouts that I’ve done.
