Iβve not had ice cream for 10 days! Iβm also switching from coffee βοΈ in the morning to tea π΅ to see if that helps my sense of dehydration. My goal is to slowly switch the black tea to green tea to see if I canβt kick this caffeine habit.

My goal is to slowly switch the black tea to green tea to see if I canβt kick this caffeine habit. Congrats on achieving the no ice cream goal so far! I did morning tea instead of coffee for months until my daughter came to stay with me for two weeks. I had to buy coffee for her and got back into the habit. I try to vary the types of coffee I drink. Sometimes I have mushroom coffee, and I just got a bag of superfoods coffee. I'm a bit nervous to try the superfoods coffee because it's so different. The mushroom coffee is good, has less caffeine and has a mild taste. Sounds gross, but it's tasty.

This is the second post that didn't take. I think it's because I hit the Reply button instead of the Post Quick Reply. I need to pay better attention :-)
Winter months are going to be hard with all of the holiday goodies floating around :-)

Fall and winter are hard for me too. I just want to be a bear, eat all the food, sleep all the time, and hibernate until it's nice out again.

Last night my husband and I went out for fondue. I'd never tried it, and the restaurant was having a 1/2 price special. We had cheese & chocolate fondue with various breads, fruits and veggies. I was so excited to try something new, I completely forgot to get the gluten-free bread. So not only was it delicious and super-fattening, the meal triggered a horrible migraine with nausea today. I can't wait for this day to be over.

Since having to take a break from the Firm workouts, the weight has been creeping back. Yesterday, I mentioned that to my husband (while we were driving) and his response was to ask me if he could treat me to my favorite pizza place π I caved π€£

Karla - sometimes our husbands can sideline our best intentions. π
My husband took me to eat at a salad bar. Iβm really trying hard to avoid the seed oils and additives, so I really wasnβt very enthusiastic at going. Once there, I found great alternatives and they even had a soup made of crawfish π¦ that was delicious. I must say, itβs easier to say no to junk because I feel so much better.

Whilst I love having different workouts to do, it's a struggle to keep my weight down since I stopped doing the Firm workouts. The cardio really helps!
Also, my diet has been terrible. I've been eating more Thai food which is fattening since it uses a lot of coconut milk. I've also been chowing down on pasta. It's sooo good!
I'm thinking of ordering organic frozen TV dinners which are healthy and low calorie. I thought I would have those for lunch and maybe a sandwich or salad for dinner for a week.

I ate a couple of Scottish shortbread cookies and it made me slightly sick π€’ I think because of the wheat more than the sugar. Iβll have to let this pass and avoid in the future.
