Checkin thread for the month - hope the change in weather suits everyone and that you all make the most of the period of transition - personally I adore spring and autumn. Make the most of it, before greater adversity hinders your doings - build some momentum whilst you can.

I'm not fond of those 'Max' workouts - Errand- & Clean-. Glad, though that Shovel Max is unavailable here. My focus on conistency is going well so far, but we're only just half way through. I'm not taking any credit yet.

That sounds like MUCH heavier digging than the Shovel Max for snow I was thinking of ! and a lot more of it too. Hope the (literal) fruits of your labours are many.

I have several Fuji persimmons that will be ripe in a month or so. I just planted them this year. It's very exciting!

Helen, please be careful walking in the heat. I don't want you to have a sun stroke!

Aw thanks for the thought Karla! Since it was hot, we didn't go anywhere NEAR as far a usual (just 10min to Maccas, as it was the last one of term) & a couple of us continued to walk around the park next door whilst the kids sat in Maccas, then walked the 10min back. Normally, for the last one of term, we'd go to a centre that's 20min away but due to the heat, chose to go somewhere much closer. Duty of care for the kids, as a teacher.
Normal weekly school walks are 60-70min of brisk paced stomping - next term (full Summer) we'll emphasise sun block, hats, water bottles - slow the pace, and head for parks with shade-trees. Also we pause half-way where there are bubblers (water fountains) for the kids to refill their bottles.
