I was looking about a bit on FB Market Place and came across a yoga stick for sale. I'd never heard of them before. I discovered some stick workouts that look really good on YouTube. I might try one with my dowel. Have you ever done a yoga stick workout?

This is new to me as well! Appears to be a prop, like blocks, straps, blankets, etc., that students can incorporate in their practice. I may use a block a couple times a year, but other than that, I'm a 'propless yogi'. LOL
I look forward to feedback on your personal experience, Karla.

Iβve not seen a specific yoga workout using a stick although thereβs a YouTube stretching channel Iβve seen that does use them, Kit Laughlin. Iβm wondering if you could substitute a Pilates pole?

Iβve not seen a specific yoga workout using a stick although thereβs a YouTube stretching channel Iβve seen that does use them, Kit Laughlin. Iβm wondering if you could substitute a Pilates pole? There are a few on YouTube, but I only found one filmed in America. I have posted that in the yoga stick workout thread. Itβs for beginners. I havenβt done it yet as my daughter has been visiting. Hereβs a link to a shorter, more advanced yoga workout: Yoga Stick It looks like the stick helps people get really deep into the stretches. I would be careful at first because I think you could definitely end up with DOMS or possibly hurt yourself if youβre not used to such deep bending. I plan on using an inexpensive dowel that I bought for a FitPrime Lean workout.
