Well today I did a 30 min walk on my tread. The Pelo tread has scenic walks you can do and I love them far more than the classes lol. So I did that and cause I was so close to my step goal of 8000 steps, I hit up my Kindle on my tread and read a chapter just to hit my goal. I went way beyond it and got another 10 min of walking in. SO a total of 40 min.

I ended up sick Saturday so I took the weekend off. Last night was Travis Eliot, Short and Sweet, Lauren. It seemed to me that the cueing got less while the practice got faster. Now that I know what to expect, I might enjoy it more. i wouldn’t say I disliked it. I thought it was great, but I just got lost towards the end and had to lookup at the screen a few times.
Rhbrand - I love beautiful scenery! It sounds wonderful. 😊

Today was the 40-minute Pink Firm Total Body Toner with Allie. I don't know how long I've had this one. Last night I ordered a copy off eBay, but I had that feeling... Was too lazy to go to the other room and check. This morning found out I already had a copy. The eBay version was around $4.00. I don't know how they can sell them so cheap. I messaged that I wanted to cancel because I already had a copy. We will see.

Unplanned rest day. I remember 2:45am very well last night. Still awake, tossing turning, unable to find the off button for my brain. Then just after 6am my dogs woke me up for, reasons they have yet to tell me lol. Then my brain decided to turn back on and I was unable to fall back asleep for about an hour, then I woke back up about 7:45 am and just stayed awake. We babysat our oldest granddaughter today. She's 5 and easy to watch. We played outside for about 20 min but it was heating up way to much. After she went home, I took a nap for about an hour. Woke up still tired so I just was like "ugh"

I did Active Restoration Yoga class 1 today. It was much harder than I expected, but very good in details. I ordered her book so I’m hoping the book will be even more explanatory.
I don’t write down my dog walks, but I do them several times a day, and I think they count as exercise. Now that my yoga 40 days are over, I’m trying to decide if I should continue or start adding in some other stuff again.
Rhbrand- no sleep is just awful. Maybe the nap messed you up?
Karla - ugh, I hate getting duplicates! It doesn’t help that many were repackaged so you’d think you were getting something new.

I only did The Firm Cardio tone sculpt with Tina Smalley. Not 100% sure that the title is exactly correct.

Sick again today. I think it’s food poisoning. I made some hamburger patties from the store. Last time I got sick, I’d had two as patty melts. There were two left and I had the other two last night. Same thing, sick this morning. Nobody else was sick and I’m the only one who consumed the hamburger. I will never buy this brand ever again. So… my workout consisted of running to the bathroom. I still had to work this afternoon though.

Oh no, I hope you feel better! Keep sipping water so you don't get dehydrated. Or get something like Gatorade if you need to.
My workout, a deep cleaning of our basement cause we might end up with family spending a couple nights here. UGH. Ok I don't clean down there like I should, but it's pretty clean now. I even did my gym cause a couple cats decided to fight down there and there was enough cat fur to make a new cat.

Seriously, I do feel for you because I've been there, and it was miserable. I hope you're feeling better today. I was too exhausted from lack of sleep yesterday to do a workout. My pup always has to use the restroom around 3 am. I have to get up and walk Buddy and his sister out in the back yard on a leash. We live near wood and I worry about critters in the yard. Then my senior decided (about 1/2 hour later) that he had to go out which got my pups going and they wanted breakfast. It goes on, but I won't bore you. I can't fall back asleep easily once I wake up. Today was the Firm Fast & Firm Upper Body with Janet Brooks. I also did Yin Yoga 💛 50 Min Lower Body Deep Stretch with Cheryl. Since I started doing her practices, my knee pain has disappeared.

Karla - I have an 8-year-old female who has to make random potty runs at 3am. I have to watch her because my yard is not fenced and we’ve got critters around, so I get it when you can’t go back to sleep.
As I mentioned in the General thread, I flared up an old hip injury while doing a yoga dvd. It was day after the second food poisoning incident and I probably wasn’t well hydrated as I thought I was. Well, I’ve got a pull or cramp in the hip that I suspect has a partial labral tear. Long story, but 5 years ago I had someone push me from behind in a straddle stretch and my hip joint popped complete with electrical feeling to the toes. It took me a full year to get the strength and range of motion back. Looks like I’ve got to re-do. 😞
Oh, a friend showed me video of her husband passing out in their kitchen due to dehydration. He fell into a chair and then hit the floor, all caught on video. He’s okay, but docs believe it’s definitely dehydration. Scary.

For me, I completed the 40 day Sadhana. I got sick for the last days of it. All in all, it was great. I built a lot of upper body strength, but now I feel like my lower body strength, glutes and thighs, need work to support my hip. So, I’m going to start working on that while trying to keep up my yoga. Tonight’s workout was Firm Basics Scultping with Weights and Rodney Yee Yoga for Energy and Stress Relief, Gentle Relaxation. I’m taking it slow because I’ve still got that pulling sensation BUT I also realized that I’m settling into the hip joint and not contraction my glutes when I should. I’ve got work to do. 🤔
